About George Labrot, MD
George E. Labrot, MD is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. He is a patient-centered physician who values the long-term relationships that he has established with so many patients over the years.
Dr. Labrot is on the Board of Directors for Floating Doctors and has traveled the world treating patients in resource-limited areas of the world, including his work with Mother Teresa in Calcutta, India. He has an extensive range of medical knowledge. He is a popular lecturer for the University of Minnesota biannual CME program for delivery of medical care in resource-poor areas.
Dr. Labrot earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. He did his internship at the USCF Affiliated Alameda County Medical Center and completed his residency and fellowship at the Martin Luther King-Drew Harbor Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Labrot enjoys horseback riding, hiking, and cross-country skiing. He has a particular interest in history and philosophy.
